The project, in brief, is to establish a farm to fatten cows, sheep, and goats for the purpose of selling them as red meat.
It’s worth noting that the number of cows in Qatar’s agricultural sector has increased from 27,909 in 2017 to 45,958 today. The number of sheep has also increased from 822,831 in 2017 to 1,115,293 today. Goat numbers have also increased from 363,568 in 2017 to 464,980 today.
Previous data and information indicate that livestock is increasing, driven by demand for it and its meat.
It remains to be noted that the country’s red meat production has increased from 8,406 tons in 2016 to 10,857 tons today. Finally, we emphasize that Qatar’s self-sufficiency rate for red meat is only 17%, so this project will be a good opportunity to generate profit and achieve the desired financial returns.
